Join EMRA for two informative ranch tours featuring innovative operations, practical discussions, and opportunities to network with fellow producers. The tour will go to Sam and Nancy Ortmann’s ranch in Lustre, MT on Wednesday, September 2nd.

Sam and Nancy have incorporated intensive rotational grazing for their sheep. This rotation moves through native grass, expired CRP fields, seeded fields, cover crops, and ends with crop residue. They have seen beneficial results during drought years in maintaining flock numbers and in grass recovery.

Tickets are $15. Kids attend free!
