The Montana Grazing Lands Coalition is a grassroots, rancher-led nonprofit organization with the mission to maintain and improve grazing lands across the state of Montana through collaboration, diversification, and connection.
WHO WE WORK WITH: Ranchers, governmental agencies, conservation NGOs, and other agriculture focused organizations to better adaptively manage grazing lands, together.
WHAT WE OFFER: Interagency technical and program assistance including writing grazing management plans, advising on financial assistance programs, funding for grazing demonstrations and education events, and providing tangible and valuable resources to producers.
We bring tangible resources to producers by supporting educational events across , and at our Grazing Expo.

We link together agencies, ranchers, organizations that serve ranchers, and efforts across Montana and neighboring regions. We connect ranchers to many resources, including: financial assistance; sound grazing and land management principles; tools and innovations';and best practices and traditional knowledge to maintain grazing lands. We host peer-to-peer learning opportunities, fund demonstration projects, and bolster relationships that collectively support the long-term resilience of agriculture in Montana.
With deep roots in Montana, we champion the ranchers and grazing lands that sustain our rural communities, steward our natural resources, and feed and clothe people here and beyond.
